Evaluation Specifications: General Information |
|

|
|
Evaluation Specifications are stored in the central repository.
There are two application types that allow you to access the central
repository:
-
The Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) is a desktop
application suite. You can create and edit Evaluation Specifications,
generate Request for Proposals (RFP) and perform software
comparisons. The EAS comes with a built-in Requirements Package
Browser, which lets you import requirements into Evaluation
Specifications via drag & drop.
-
The Evaluation Specification Browser (ESB) is a Web
application, which runs in the Web Browser. You can browse
Evaluation Specifications on-line. The application can generate a
spreadsheet for you, which you can open in Microsoft Excel or other
spreadsheet tools that can understand Microsoft's Excel file format.
While there are no differences in terms of content, the pricing
policy factors in that usage scenarios are different. Therefore,
Evaluation Specification license fees are considerably lower for the
Evaluation Specification Browser.
