Business Process Integration Suites (BPIS), a.k.a. Business Process Management
Suites (BPMS), are complex product suites, allowing for the definition
and mapping of processes, the development and deployment of processes,
process execution (brokering), administration, monitoring and
reporting. The primary technologies being used to accomplish Business
Process Integration include Web Servers, Application Servers, Business
Rule Engines and sophisticated Messaging Engines (i.e. the Enterprise
Service Bus).
The Business Process Integration Suites (BPIS) Evaluation Specification has been developed to assist organizations with the evaluation and selection of complex BPM suites. It has been
authored with the typical requirements of medium-sized and large
organizations in mind.
In architectural terms, a BPIS is based on service component technologies, such as Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Component Architecture (SCA).

Provided that you have installed the Evaluator's Application Suite
(EAS), the BPIS Evaluation Specification will show up in the
"Central Repository" tab in the Evaluation Specification Editor
(ESEdit). You can import it for editing after you have acquired a
license.
Business Partner-related requirements and non-functional
requirements can be imported from the central repository, using drag
& drop. No extra license is required.
