You can generate a Private RFP once the Evaluation Specification has been formally approved. Otherwise, the menu option is greyed out.
A Private RFP represents an envelope around an Evaluation Specification. It enhances header information, but leaves document structure and content unchanged.
While an Evaluation Specification does not contain time-related information, the Private RFP adds such information. One may say that the RFP envelope caters for organizational aspects, while an Evaluation Specification centers around 'problem-oriented' aspects.
When you generate a Private RFP, you are requested to provide information about the release date of the RFP, when RFP Responses are due, etc. You also need to specify a directory and a file name.
