The Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) contains a number of applications. An application installer (setup utility) is provided, which makes EAS easy to install on
Windows.
After you have downloaded the EAS, you can invoke the installer, which will guide you through the installation.
The Windows installer will create a directory into which executable files, libraries, etc., will be placed. It is recommended that you accept the default destination directory and thus have the installer create a subdirectory of your "Programs" directory.
In addition, the installer will create a directory named "Evaluator" in your home directory. This is the place where individual settings are stored. Please note that your individual settings are left intact when you reinstall the EAS.
Finally, the installer will create a Windows Service for you, which will automatically start whenever the operating system boots. The Windows Service runs the Local License Server (LLS).
Installation will normally take less than a minute. Once the installation has successfully completed, you can start using EAS applications.
