When you use the Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS), you work with four different basic document types:
- Evaluation Specification
- Request For Proposal (RFP)
- Request For Proposal Response (RFP Response)
- Evaluation Project Spreadsheet
All EAS documents contain structured information and represent the "modern form" of file cards. The following table describes the major characteristics:

Evaluation Specification

Contains a tree structure. Each node is of one of the following types:
- Header (Address, etc.)
- Part
- Section
- Requirement Group
- Requirement.

Request For Proposal (RFP)
|
Envelopes an Evaluation Specification and adds additional RFP-specific information (e.g. RFP Issued Date, RFP Response Due Date, etc.). |
Request For Proposal Response (RFP Response)
|
Contains information about the RFP Response Provider and associates a requirement fulfillment statement with each requirement in the underlying RFP.
