EAS Document Types PDF Print E-mail

When you use the Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS), you work with four different basic document types:

  1. Evaluation Specification
  2. Request For Proposal (RFP)
  3. Request For Proposal Response (RFP Response)
  4. Evaluation Project Spreadsheet

All EAS documents contain structured information and represent the "modern form" of file cards. The following table describes the major characteristics:

Document Type  Description
Evaluation Specification

Contains a tree structure. Each node is of one of the following types:

  1. Header (Address, etc.)
  2. Part
  3. Section
  4. Requirement Group
  5. Requirement.
Request For Proposal (RFP)
Envelopes an Evaluation Specification and adds additional RFP-specific information (e.g. RFP Issued Date, RFP Response Due Date, etc.).
Request For Proposal Response (RFP Response)
Contains information about the RFP Response Provider and associates a requirement fulfillment statement with each requirement in the underlying RFP.
Evaluation Project Spreadsheet Contains the RFP and all RFP Responses.
