EAS Applications PDF Print E-mail

Applications included in the EAS Download Package 

The following applications are part of the Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) and are included in the download:

  1. Evaluation Specification Editor (ESEdit)
  2. Evaluation Specification Editor - Content Provider Edition (ESEdit-CPE)
  3. Request for Proposal Editor (RFPEdit)
  4. Request for Proposal Response Editor (RFPREdit)
  5. Evaluation Project Spreadsheet Editor (EPEdit)

The sequence of enumeration is also the sequence in which you use EAS applications. The following table provides a concise overview of the major characteristics of each EAS application.

EAS Download Package for Offerors

In addition, there is a specific RFPREdit edition, which is intended to be used by offerors (Request for Proposal Response Editor - Offeror Edition (RFPREdit-OE)). This application is available as a separate download.

 

About Application Behavior 

You will notice that it takes an application a bit longer to start up when it is started for the first time. This is because an EAS Application creates a Preferences (Settings) file if it does not find one in the user's home directory. In addition, a License Database is created if it does not exist.
