New Evaluation Specification: Business Process Management Systems PDF Print E-mail

Jenz & Partner will soon make available a new Evaluation Specification about Business Process Management Systems (BPMS).

Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) are complex product suites, allowing for the definition and mapping of processes, the development and deployment of processes, process execution (brokering), administration, monitoring and reporting. The primary technologies being used to accomplish Business Process Integration include Web Servers, Application Servers, Business Rule Engines and sophisticated Messaging Engines (i.e. the Enterprise Service Bus).

Demand for BPMS product suites will be ever increasing over the next few years. Business managers expect verifiable benefits in terms of enhanced business performance, greater agility, and reduced risks. Vendors are working hard to meet those expectations by combining various technologies into a single BPMS package that will make it easier for businesses to control, maintain, and change their business processes.

The Business Process Management Systems Evaluation Specification is being authored with the typical requirements of medium-sized and large organizations in mind.
