Jenz & Partner GmbH is proud to announce the launch of the
Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) Release 1.1, a well-integrated set of applications
that lets users perform professional software product evaluations.
The Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) supports the entire evaluation
process, from authoring an Evaluation Specification to comparing RFP
Responses received from one or more sources. Potential sources are software vendors, service providers (e.g. consulting firms), and even sources from within the organization.
"With the Evaluator's Application
Suite we equip people involved in the product evaluation process with a
set of powerful applications, which let them significantly reduce time
and effort, and achieve an as yet unprecedented productivity level"
said Dieter Jenz, Managing Director of Jenz & Partner. "Users will
be able to download ready-made Evaluation Specifications and customize
them, if required, to fit their specific needs".
The Evaluator's Application Suite encompasses the following major features and benefits:
- Ready-for-use Evaluation Specifications can be downloaded from the central repository and customized, if necessary.
- The evaluation process is streamlined and shortened, thanks to the exchange of structured information in electronic form among process participants.
- EAS is a well-integrated one-stop solution, which lets you arrive at a product comparison with customizable and automated score computation.
The EAS is comprised of a set of applications, each of which implements a process activity (process task). The EAS Tour provides you with an overview of the applications included in the EAS.
You will find information about new features in EAS release 1.1 in the release announcement.
Offerors are part of the evaluation process. The RFP Response Editor application is available for free download and can be used by offerors for the preparation of RFP Responses.
From a technical perspective, the Evaluator's Application Suite stores Evaluation Specifications and other objects as ontologies, compliant with the W3C OWL (Web Ontology Language) Specification. This represents a way to put the Semantic Web into action.
Users are shielded from those technical underpinnings by an easy-to-use graphical user interface.
EAS Release 1.1 is available for free download effective immediately.
