The Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS) consists of applications that are all based on a set of common basic concepts. This provides for a shallow learning curve.
EAS applications look much like ordinary Microsoft Windows applications. For example, if you have worked with Microsoft Office applications, you will feel quickly at home with EAS applications. You will see menus and toolbars, and navigation will prove familiar.
Owing to the specific document structure, which is a common denominator for all EAS applications, and typical work practices, there are a few specifics that you will quickly become familiar with.
The Basic Application Layout is consistent across all EAS applications. There is a worklist window, which provides a list of the EAS documents you frequently work with.
Menu Items will look familiar. Care has been taken to name menu items in the fashion that has established itself for Windows applications over the years.
When you work with an EAS document, you will notice that each EAS document is assigned a document state. The document state represents the state of progress in the document preparation process.
