Evaluator Suite applications are packaged based on the needs of the
various roles that people assume in the evaluation process. Please read on to determine which package best
suits your needs.
Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS)
If you plan to perform a software product evaluation, you are
recommended to download the Evaluator's Application Suite (EAS). It contains the
following applications:
- Evaluation Specification Editor: Allows you to download
ready-for-use Evaluation Specifications and gives you the option to
customize Evaluation Specifications to meet your specific requirements;
- RFP Editor: Allows you to generate RFPs from Evaluation Specifications;
- RFP
Response Editor: Allows you to self-prepare RFP Responses in cases an
offeror is not prepared to create an RFP Response or you explicitely
wish to create an RFP Response without offeror involvement;
- Evaluation
Project Editor: Allows you to compare RFP Responses received from
software vendors against the underlying Request for Proposal (RFP).

Minimum System Requirements:
- Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or better, Windows Vista
- Java™ Virtual Machine: Sun™ JRE 1.5.0 or better
- Cable, DSL or equivalent always-on broadband connection to Internet
- 1 GHz Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon CPU (2 GHz recommended)
- 512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended)
- 1024 x 768, 16-bit display (32-bit recommended)
- 30 MB available disk space
A demo Evaluation Specification is accessible from the Evaluation Specification Editor (ESEdit). In addition, there is a demo Evaluation Project available for download (zip file). After unzip, you can load it into the Evaluation Project Editor (EPEdit) in order to get familiar with its functionality.
The demo Evaluation Project includes 4 RFP Responses. Please note that all company names are fictional and are used for examples only.
RFP Response Editor: Offeror's Edition
As a product vendor, if you have received a Request
For Proposal (RFP) and need to create a RFP Response, you may want to
download the RFP Response Editor.
System requirements match those of the EAS with the exception of a smaller footprint.
