The requirements
repository contains requirement categories as well as functional and
non-functional requirements related to software. Evaluator's
Application Suite (EAS) applications access the repository and allow
users to import requirements into Evaluation Specifications via drag
and drop.
While the EAS
supports the creation of Evaluation Specifications, repository
entities can also be used for the creation of Software Requirements
Specifications. A Software
Requirements Specification (SRS) is understood to mean a
complete description of the behavioral (functional) and quality
aspects of the system to be developed.
There is a
common denominator in that the same set of requirements can be used
both for the creation of Evaluation Specifications and for the
creation of Software Requirements Specifications.
Thanks to the
underlying service-oriented architecture (SOA), it is possible to
access the Software Requirements Repository via a service API. As a
result, integration with requirements management software can be
accomplished with relatively little effort.
